Jim Schultz. Photographer.

Bringing home the wild places.

(Website under construction)

Jim is an amateur photographer based in Southern California. He strives to bring back images of places rarely seen.

Jim thrives in the mountains, lakes, valleys, and trees of the U.S. & beyond. His love for the wilderness & his passion for medicine inspired him to earn his Degree in Mountain Medicine (D.I.M.M.)- combining his passion and profession. Jim's heart for nature gives him a different vision of and a unique perspective on photography.   Watch the mountains and water as they dance across your screen.  Listen for the whistling of the wind through the pines.  Feel the cool breath of the heights as you trek with him to some magical places.

All those who love Nature she loves in return, and will richly reward, not perhaps with the good things, as they are commonly called, but with the best things of this world-not with money and titles, horses and carriages, but with bright and happy thoughts, contentment and peace of mind.”

JOHN LUBBOCK, The Beauties of Nature

”God made the forests, the tiny stars, and the wild winds—and I think that he made them partly as a balance for that kind of civilization that would choke the spirit of joy out of our hearts. He made the great open places for the people who want to be alone with him and talk to him, away from the crowds that kill all reverence. And I think that he is glad at times to have us forget our cares and responsibilities that we may be nearer him—as Jesus was when he crept away into the wilderness to pray.”
